Debunking 25 Science & Religion Myths

What do you really know about Galileo's incarceration? Or Einstein's belief in a personal God? And is what you know correct? In a new book of essays, a group of scholars hope to "dispense with the hoary myths that have masqueraded too long as historical truths"—and reframe the science and religion relationship in the process.
Galileo Goes to Jail and Other Myths about Science and Religion includes essays by atheists, agnostics, and Christians, and is edited by Ron Numbers, an historian of science and medicine at the University of Wisconsin.
