"Matter and Meaning: Is Matter Sacred or Profane?," the 2008 Science and Religion Forum conference, starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday at Liverpool Hope University in England. The conference, which will examine the nature of matter and whether our increasing scientific knowledge will affect religious belief, comes just before the British Association for the Advancement of Science's Festival of Science, which also will be held in Liverpool.
