Fringe, the new Fox TV series from J.J. Abrams (of Alias and Lost fame), premieres next Tuesday, and beginning next Wednesday, entertainment reporter Kimberly Roots will be blogging weekly for us about the previous night's episode. The show, all about "fringe" science, promises to "thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between science fiction and reality," with a plot that centers on scientist Walter Bishop (described as "our generation's Einstein"), his brilliant but estranged son, and the FBI agent who needs both of them to help her investigate paranormal phenomena.
