Mark Pinsky, religion writer for the
Orlando Sentinel and a 2008
Templeton-Cambridge Journalism Fellowship winner, will
speak about “Religion and Popular Culture: Shotgun Wedding, Marriage of Convenience or Match Made in Heaven?” at Wake Forest University on March 25. Pinsky, who often writes about the intersection of faith, media, and popular culture, is the author of
The Gospel According to the Simpsons,
The Gospel According to Disney, and
A Jew Among the Evangelicals. On March 28, he'll sit on a panel, "Evangelicals After Billy Graham," at Duke Divinity School.
